I know most people would say that 'The Godfather' I and II are the best gangster movies ever made. Although the two works are very different things, 'GoodFellas' stands as the greatest portrait of organized crime in America.

Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, and Robert De Niro give amazing performances and keep you engaged and entertained even when performing the most heinous of crimes. Not to mention Lorraine Bracco who's character struggles with the reality of living life married to a mobster.

There's no need for me to provide more detail, go and watch this if you're in the mood for an American gangster classic like no other.
